Peter Verstrate

Peter Verstrate is a Professor and the University of Maastricht and Co-Founder and CEO of MosaMeat, one of the first companies producing cultured, lab-grown meat. Peter’s area of expertise lies in identifying, structuring and implementing sustainable improvements of food production, as well as setting up and improving Research & Development departments. Peter worked on the development of the first cultured hamburger that was presented to the public in 2013.
